Layered Cake Colored Pencil

For this piece, I tried to encapsulate what type of cake 12-year-old me always dreamed of ,which dually was my inspiration for using colored pencils. This cake is rather simple, but I have always been a fan of bright colors in mixture. I wanted the colors to stand out, and pieces or cakes can become too busy when there are too many parts to it in combination with lots of colors. Sometimes the simplest pieces are the most vibrant and sometimes the simplest cakes are the most flavorful.
